“Eager to Get a Rhinoplasty! - Colorado”
Spent: $5,500 in Denver, Boulder, colorado
Ever since I was a kid I've hated my nose. I love the shape of it and I've been told that it's actually a pretty "cute" nose...but the thing I hate about it is that it's TOO big for my small face. My profile is the WORST. I kind of have a bulbous tip and my bridge projects out way too much. I've been looking around the denver area for the "perfect" surgeon but haven't found one yet! I've seen Dr. Albin, Dr. Kuisle, Dr. Randy Richardson, Dr. Slenkovich and Dr. Menachof so far. It's frustrating because when I think I've found the right surgeon to perform my rhinoplasty I find a negative review online about them, they're not board certified, they don't specialize in rhinoplasty, etc. I'm really scared to get the procedure done but I'm thinking within the next month (latest mid November) I will have gotten it done! I just really don't want a botched nose job because I cant afford (as of right now) to fix it. If anyone has recommendations or opinions on the doctors I've listed above PLEASE LET ME KNOW! I have 4 more surgeons I am going to see and hopefully I will have made up my mind! I see Dr. M Shah this Friday, Dr. Paul Zwiebel next week, Dr. Saber next week and Dr. Raval on the 20th. Wish me luck!

Hello everyone! So it's day 6 of my rhinoplasty surgery and so far I LOVE IT! Tomorrow I get to take the cast off and I am super excited. Even with the splint on I can see a significant change. My bridge is narrower, my tip is more refined and my profile is shorter. So far this has been the best decision I've ever made!

So it's been a month and a half since I got my surgery with Dr. Albin and I'm still very happy about the results! Even though my nose is still swollen (as expected), my nose is a lot smaller than my old nose and it's pretty much picture perfect. It's starting to look exactly like the digital image he made for me prior to surgery. I actually had an appointment with him yesterday (Dec 1st, 2011) and he said that everything seems to be going smoothly. I can breathe perfectly out of my nose, I have no pain, and the shape of my nose is what I wanted. He and I both agreed that the nose I have now fits my petite face much better. AHHHH! I'm stoked to see the end result 6 months to a year from now considering the fact that he assured me that the swelling will continue to decrease and my nose will get smaller. So...I've come to the assumption that...if i like my new nose now, I'll LOVE my new nose a year from now. I'll keep updating you guys! I'll try to post some pictures up here within a couple days - just been sooo busy. Cheers!
