Rhinoplasty Wasn't for Me - Calgary, AB

Sadly, I had been wanting rhinoplasty for about 3 years. I was insecure with the way my nose made my face look from different angles because of it's crookedness. I consulted with Dr. Zakhary to have one thing changed, and that was to straighten out my nose. I liked that Dr. Zakhary was able to produce natural looking results, and that's what made me choose her. She did a perfect job in straightening my nose, however the tip of my nose looks completely different now which upsets me because I didn't ask for my tip to be changed in anyway. Although it was done at her hands, I take responsibility for this as I don't think I should have naively rushed into this procedure at such a young age. Dr. Zakhary is a smart and capable surgeon but I wish I would have gone through a different approach to fix my insecurities. Getting a rhinoplasty didn't make me feel more beautiful, and the whole process was definitely an emotional roller coaster. I would still recommend Dr. Zakhary to people because she's an amazing doctor but I would warn them about the emotional toll that it has to get any kind of facial reconstructive surgery.
