I had my first breast augmentation in London,...

I had my first breast augmentation in London, England when I was 23yrs old. Back then I didn't get a choice in implant size or where the implant was positioned. The biggest implant the surgeon used was 240cc and he made it clear that would be too big for me. I was a completely flat pancake chested AA and had spent all my teenage years feeling self conscious and being teased.
I ended up with 220cc textured moderate profile implants sbove the muscle. To be completely honest they looked and felt totally natural and continued to do so for 19yrs. Unfortunately after 15yrs I developed a burning pain in my left breast. An ultrasound scan showed a deep and palpable fold had developed.
I was quoted between $12000 to $18000 to have them replaced here in Australia. I wasn't able to borrow that amount of money so opted to go overseas to Bangkok as the pain continued a further 4 years. I could no longer lie on my side or wear an underwire bra. My old implants were also runny gel not cohesive and that was worrying me.
I joined a group tour that included 2 nights in a lovely hospital and 12 nights recovery in a 5 star hotel.
My consult was very brief, about 20 minutes and there was a language barrier. In the end I decided upon 325cc high profile Silimed textured round implants to go above the muscle. The hospital had ran out of 275 & 300cc implants and I had to go bigger than what I wanted!
Surgey went well, I had the post op night in a high dependency unit which is hospital policy there when someone is operated on late at night. Then I had the second night in a lovely ward. I had drains and IV antibiotics for the first 24 hrs then oral antibiotics and antibiotic wound ointment to start straight away! They certainly do everything to avoid infection. Only negative was that in High dependency no one spoke English which was stressful as I couldn't get them to give me my phone to call my husband in Australia.
I forgot to say that my old implants were sticky and left an oily residue on your hands where the old gel was bleeding through the shell, this had caused capsule irritation and the beginnings of capsular contraction which in turn caused the implants to fold and the burning pain!
I really enjoyed my recovery in Bangkok, my stitches were removed after 7 days and luckily I had no issues at all.
One thing that I would say is that once you leave the country you have no further aftercare. This was the biggest drawback of it all. I had issues with spitting sutures for about 3 months and my GP had to manage them. I Aldo panicked I'd develop an infection and I could'nt afford to return to Thailand. So I felt like I took a risk.
As far as results I have lovely soft breasts that seem to suit my frame. They can be pushed up to look big or in a normal bra they look natural.

Dr Rungkit was a very nice and quietly spoken man. He was very busy and didn't have a lot of time to spend in consult. His recommendations were perfect for what I wanted to achieve.
