Been going to NP ANNA PETRAS at Azala since I came...
Been going to NP ANNA PETRAS at Azala since I came back home to SF two years ago. She has consistently provided excellent technique with not only Botox treatments, but also now, Juvederm and Juverderm Voluma. Her technique is highly developed. As well she has an artist's eye; and is able to make one syringe of any filler perform as it if were two.
In fact, the surgeon who owns this business, (who I am convinced, is a fabulous surgeon.... I am in the medical profession myself) ; could not match the fantastic talent of N.P. ANNA PETRAS with injections. She uses an entirely different technique than the surgeon. Now, don't get me wrong; the surgeon is a wonderful man who is caring and does a decent job regarding injectables. But my treatment of Voluma from him addressed an entirely different area than he and I had discussed. I'm very happy with the area he addressed, but it DID require one more syringe of Voluma, and another of Juvederm ( which was out of my budget at the time), to even out everything and address the MODEST area I was concerned about! I am quite sure he is GOLDEN in the Operating Room, but I should have stuck with ANNA for the INJECTABLES. But she was booked, so I asked the surgeon that day. The result required me to buy another syringe of Voluma, and one of Juvaderm......where I'm sure Anna could have got the requested area resolved with ONE syringe.
She listens very closely to your goals and has an instinctual understanding of how to achieve them without going wild with the stuff, as most surgeons, ( I have found), seem to do. So after my filler day with the surgeon, I went back to ANNA PETRAS, the NP of the group, who found a way to get me in (regardless of her COMPLETELY filled holiday schedule), for my completion. I was also afforded a very generous pricing compromise which made everyone happy. ( Remember, I had only the amount of budget for ONE syringe of Voluma). And I left Anna's office feeling absolutely perfect re: my goals.
ANNA does not yet inject Belafill, and next time, when/if the results of this run of filler dissipate; I am hoping so much she has decided to use Belafill, so I can get permanent results. Belafill, luckily not an allergen for me, has been a godsend over the last 7 years of aging. The surgeon who owns this practice actually corrected my face for symmetry with Belafill and did a fine and good job. But I cannot wait to see what ANNA PETRAS can do with it!!! As well, I have never had to suffer bruising or much swelling either with her treatments! Her Botox is spot on, never received any visually strange results.....which my beloved plastic surgery office in Arizona would occasionally create.
I'm telling ya......if you are in SF and looking for the BEST injector, definitely try to get an appt. with ANNA PETRAS, at AZALA MEDICAL AESTHETICS. I am not being paid to endorse this company nor this fantastic NP; I am just a very experienced 52 year old who has had 4 different injectors over the last 7 years; and when I experience something exceptional, I want them to receive their proper 'kudos'. By the way, I am a big fan of injectables, ( Juvaderm , and especially Belafill , if one is a proper candidate).
As an aside for all leery to get fillers or Botox; I get hit on all the time by men in their late 20's to early 30's ...who tell me they think I look more like ...( drumroll) ...36...!...a number I hear a lot. Very nice confidence boost for a very hardworking, (used to be single mom), who feels 20 inside and out ( lots of physical activity)........But whose face started to look pretty.....um....."used up"......ugh.
For keeping my anonymous reputation clean here however......NOT interested in ANY MAN near my OWN SON'S age ( yuck, weird)......but I tell ya.......the confidence created when you mostly get hit on by young men.....even without ever showing lots of skin.......is FABULOUS! It removes one of the most deeply ingrained of self doubts, such that I can get onto "getting over " other things I have doubts about"........LOL.
