Bottom line - my surgical experience was fantastic! At the consultation, he listened to my concerns and thoroughly discussed my expectations. He was spot-on with his questions and only offered suggestions at my request, no pushing or pressure at all. I was also very pleased to discover that his pricing was very reasonable in comparison to the Buckhead surgeons. At my pre-op appointment, they went through all of the details of the surgery and provided a kit that included everything needed for both pre and post-surgery. Next I met with my personal nurse at the surgical center (whom was with me from start to finish) and she also went over all the details of the procedures and answered all of my questions. I next met the ladies in the skin care center where I received a complimentary facial and discussed post-surgery skin care options available. Oh btw, I am currently using these products and they are amazing. The day of surgery, they made me very comfortable and treated me with the best of care. My post-surgical recovery went very smoothly - No pain at all! I went home with the post-surgical head bandages (Q-tip head) and rested very comfortably into the evening. As far as discomfort, I experienced a mild pressure sensation around my ears from the head dressing, which began when the numbing from the surgical medication wore off. Once the head dressing was removed, the next day, that discomfort was gone. I only used pain medication the first two days to help me stay relaxed so I could get good rest. The only other discomfort was the itching from the laser peel, which set in at about day 3 and was gone by day 5 once all of the crusting skin sheds off. All of my scars have healed with no infection at all and I only had a small amount of bruising over my right eye that was totally healed in two weeks. My friends and family who knew I had the procedures done could not believe how great I looked even after one week. I took 14 days off from work and looked great when I went returned with just some mild swelling. I used just a bit of concealer on my right eye to cover the bruising on my right eye. The best part of all is THE RESULTS I see now, over a month later! OMG, I look GREAT!!! My advice to anyone considering cosmetic surgery is to follow the doctor’s pre and post-surgical instructions TO A TEE!!!! I know that because I did, I had a great result... Good luck and God bless....

Its wonderful you are feeling so great about the results! You mentioned you would advise people to follow the pre & post instructions to a tee. What pre & post instructions were given to you? I'd love to hear the specifics!

I actually had three separate pages of instructions (one for each procedure) and post-surgical instructions which were very detailed and lengthy, way too much to type here. I know that each surgeon has their own version of instructions, so they can differ slightly. I received my packet of instructions at my pre-op appointment, which was one week prior to my surgery date. It was a lot of information about the dos and don'ts. (No smoking, no caffeine, low to no sodium, no alcohol, no meds containing aspirin, etc.) I also went out on to the internet and looked at other pre-surgical instructions from other surgeons which were helpful, especially relating to diet. One of the suggestions I used was eating fresh pineapple the week before surgery. Your best bet is to do a lot of research on your own. I did and I had great results. Once other thing that is important to remember is that results are also contingent on the overall health and elasticity of your skin and muscles structure going into the surgery. These are the things that you can discuss with your surgeon at the consultation. Hope this helps.....

Glad you are so pleased with the results. I'm one week post-op and am waiting 'til the swelling goes down to post my results/photos. I believe, too, that self researching (this is a wonderful site!) and following the doctor's orders are essential for best results. I am just as pleased with mine. You were certainly brave (and smart) to get all those procedures at once--I had never thought of that! I'd love to see before/after pics of you.
