Amazing Surgeon - Dr. Lomonaco and his staff are all AHH-MAZING!!!! - Houston, TX

Dr. Lomonaco and his staff are all AHH-MAZING!!!! I was heavy my entire life and yo-yo'ing between 250-350 lbs for nearly 10 yrs, even while having a lap band, that i did not use to its full potential. I finally committed to hiring a trainer to help me get and stay on track. Two years later, i was pleased with my training, but still not the way my body looked. My logic and photos told me i was smaller, healthier, stronger and, i feel better than i ever had. However, my eyes still told me something much different. i still saw the same body in the mirror when i was 350 lbs, despite having lost over 140 lbs!! You can imagine how frustrating and disheartening that is.

A friend told me about Dr. L and, i checked out his website before/after photos and, read into the procedures he offers, reviews, etc. WOW, for once i had a little glimmer of hope. Made the initial consult and, was convinced he was the surgeon for me and, that his lower body lift procedure would be the start of a whole new life. The consult itself was, ironically comforting as well. I was absolutely nauseous at the thought of anyone needing to exam VERY personal areas of my body. Dr. L’s confidence and bedside manner almost instantly put me at ease. Eight months later, i was still not believing i was having the procedure done, even as i was being wheeled into the OR.

Since surgery, i have never felt so confident of myself, finally felt beautiful, and most importantly, FINALLY did NOT see that 350 lb person looking back at me. Another 20 lbs & 3 inches lost since surgery too, (14 lbs of that, was the excess skin!!) This truly is a whole new life for me. I'd do it all over again in a heartbeat, very minimal pain and mostly just discomfort but, all very manageable. Dr. Lomonaco's work is truly unbelievable. He is truly blessed with an amazing gift. To take the 'canvas' he had to work with and turn it into something I never imagined was possible, is nothing short of a miracle, in my opinion. His staff is pretty awesome too. Every one of them have been so helpful, thoughtful, and always there, when i need them. Any questions or concerns I’ve had either he or his nurse/s have been able to help me and/or inform me and helpful. Pretty much what/how they said everything would happen, (regarding the procedure and recovery) has happened. Never having had such a major surgery before, being informed like that was extremely comforting.

The last piece of this puzzle is to have my arms and thighs done in about a year. I will DEFINATLEY be going back to him for this too. I cannot thank Dr. Lomonaco enough for everything he has been able to give back to me. I’m so excited to finally be here, to finally see the results of all my hard work, and look forward to staying on this path the rest of my life. This would not be possible, without Dr. Lomonaco!!!
