So I got my lip fillers dissolved as I was experiencing migration. What I noticed is that after dissolving, my vermillion border became more blurred than before on the right side? Im not sure why since I thought it was the migrating that causes blurring? And since getting it refilled its even more blurred. Im worried that I will never get my sharp lip line back
Have had lip filler 3 times in 8 years. Last time was about 3 years ago. I have recently noticed a brown line along the top lip vermillion border. It is very unsightly and I did not have it prior. I would like to know: Why I have it? What is it? Best treatment to remove it? Will more filler make it worse? If removed and filled again will it come back if removed? Will my lips be affected cosmetically if removal of line is done? Thank you
I'm a 34yr old white female. I have pale skin in the winter and I do tan in the summer. I have noticed over the past few years that my lipstick is starting to bleed into my face and I'm getting two or three noticeable lines on my upper lip. I'm a non-smoker and I used to have full shapely lips. My lips still have some shape, though my lips have turned a bit pale, and seem flat. What can I do to fix the lines and bring some life back to my lips?
I had a cortisone injection to treat a cystic pimple near the corner of my lip. This has resulted in a crater-like depression (abated somewhat with filler), hypopigmentation, and the loss of a sharp vermillion border. Can anything be done to restore the color of the lip? Also: would a PRP injection potentially fix the depression left behind?
I got lip fillers done 2/3 years ago and believe there is damage and would like advice if plastic surgeons have encountered this before - on and off redness above upper left lip - numbness and tingling comes and goes - lip fillers have been dissolved 2 times without lip filler in place and redness / numbness persists - got this done by a GP on training day- I think she damaged my vermillion border possibly ?? Will this go away? Thank you
Yesterday I went to a plastic surgeon because I wanted a botox lip flip. He suggested to me to try this newtox instead which was fine but he was injection near the vermillion border. He injected (from the inside of the mouth) a bit further up the lip closer to the nose (hard to figure out exactly what muscle). Im just wondering if this will even enhance my lips at all?
2 weeks post injections. Swelling gone. When my mouth is even slightly pouty or puckered my vermillion border looks like its been stuffed with filler. I like how my lips look when I have lipstick on but the puffiness is more noticeable when my lips are bare. Am I just being over-critical? Staring too closely? The nurse who injected my lips is incredible and does amazing work. I just want to know if this is normal! Please advise.
I tried my vermilion boarder and hated it. The placement of filler is not getting metabolized because three years later its there and prominent as ever. I have gotten several touch ups in the middle since. I know that I can dissolve but I dont want to lose the other filler. is there a reason this has not gone away or is there anything I can do to get the boarder to dissolve? I can still feel the filler there with my finger and do not like the way it looks. Could this be forever? Please help.
I had a conservative amount of filler injected into my upper lip about a week ago. I wanted to achieve a more plump look and gain more volume, which I have, but I am not too happy with the vermilion border. Its too stale and rolled up, which gives me a slight duck look in profile. I only wanted to change the size of my upper lip, not the definition. Is it possible to avoid the vermilion border next time and inject the filler in the bottom/center of the upper lip instead of injecting it in or below the border?
