Hello, I'm curious, are effects achieved by fractional co2 laser treatment are permanent? I'm aware that time does it's job for skin quality but how about acne scars that faded away thanks to laser? Are these scars healed permanently or they will come back after year or so? Thank You very much. Jan
How soon after a non-ablative fractional laser treatment can I do a photofacial (IPL) treatment? In order to be "pretty" and recovered for an event in few weeks, I was thinking about having a fractional treatment, with an IPL about 10 days later. Is that too soon?
ablative fractional lasers? deep chemical peels or boutique chemical peels such as Vi, or Perfect Peel? Not too interested in lighteners. I'd rather find a more long term solution. How many peels would it take to change the appearance of my freckled skin to be of one solid pale complected color? -I like my skin one solid color. There aren't a lot of redheads and people with my level of skin color, so please keep in mind I'm going for completely pale.- Thanks.
If you would have fractional CO2 laser (deep fx) on a part of your face, i.e. for a scar between cheek and mouth. And after the treatment it would appear that the contraction and tightening was too much, causing the cheek to flatten which is an undesired look. Would that be something permanent? Or would the skin over time eventually go back to its original state and volume, after the effect of the laser wears off? If so, how long would it take for an undesired outcome like that to reverse?
I read online that in-office nonablative fractional lasers penetrate up to 650 microns, and that the epidermis of the face is, on average, about 180 microns thick. Is this true? Could a nonablative fractional laser penetrate into the dermis, causing damage to fat cells and facial fat loss?
I went to see doctor to do fractional co2 today. but the doctor keep recommending me to do another laser. She siad its because my skin is too red and thin and if I do fractional co2, it will make my skin burn and worse. But I researched online and they says you can do fractional co2 on the fresh scar like right after surgery etc. My skin is burnt from chemical peeling and the wound is closed already and its just the color is red. Isnt the best option for burn scar is fractional co2?
I've had bacne since my teenage years and it's never gone down. I now have deep scarring across my shoulder blades and the bottom of my back, as well as hyperpigmentation and redness. I also have a lot of hair growth (I've never used any hair removal methods on my back yet). What exactly can I do to fix all of this? I have no idea where to start.
I had a fractional C02 laser session with subcision for my acne scar but after 4 months I can see that the texture is shiny and has less pores. Is it permanent damage of sebaceous or sweat glands or some other issue?
