A: Juvederm Cost in Atlanta

Vincent N. Zubowicz, MD

Juvederm is by the Syringe not units. At our facility in Atlanta we charge $550.00 per Syringe. There are several options for injectables. We offer free consultation so the  correct type of injectable(s) can be determined  upon examination. The consultation is done to ensure that your facial concerns... more

A: Priced per syringe

Hello, Juvederm is sold by the syringe, not by the unit.  You may be confusing this with Botox, as Botox is injected by the unit.  In my practice, Juvederm runs between 500-550 per syringe.  Thanks for your question! Sincerely, Dr. Stephen Goldstein

A: Usually $550 per syringe

David R. Stephens, MD

The cost of Juvederm® is determined by the number of syringes used, not the units, which is how we determine the cost of Botox. We will usually charge $550 per syringe although we will sometimes have office specials.

We charge $550 per 1 syringe of Juvederm Ultra and $600 per 1 syringe of Juvederm Ultra Plus. If the patient needs more than one syringe, we give a discount of $50 for each additional syringe. Currently, Allergan is running a promotion with a $100 rebate for 2 syringes of their product, so you can get... more

Hello, Juvederm is delivered in ccs (or volume) not units. Maybe there is confusion between Botox and Juvederm or perhaps a local doctor has come up with a new gimmick?

A: The cost varies and is somewhat regional and practitioner-dependent.

Bryan K. Chen, MD

Juvederm is usually charged per syringe.  Each syringe contains 0.8 mL of material.  I have seen anywhere from the high 300-dollar range to 1,000 per syringe.  While it is ok to price-shop, it is more important that you find a qualified, experienced injector you are comfortable with, who... more

Juvederm is not dispensed in units, the way Botox is.  It is injected from syringes, usually 0.8 cc in size. The average cost for Juvederm in our area is about $600 per syringe injected by a physician. The injection of Juvederm is very technique dependent, especially in difficult areas such as the cheeks,... more

Elaine, Juvederm is not sold per "unit." Botox is sometimes sold per "unit," which may lead to some confusion. Also there are two kinds of Juvederm, Juvederm Ultra and Juvederm UltraPlus. It is typically sold per syringe. The prices can vary widely, ranging anywhere from $400 per... more

Juvederm is sold as syringes of 0.8cc of product. Those physicians who choose to charge per syringe will charge about $500-$800 per syringe. Some physicians will charge you for correcting wrinkles in a particular area regardless of how many syringes they use. Botox is the product measured in units.

Juvederm is not sold by the unit. It comes in 0.8cc syringes. The average price for juvederm is between $500-600 per syringe and in some offices you may see it even lower.

Juvederm is sold by the syringe, not by the unit as Botox is sold. There are 2 types made by Allergan: Juvederm Ultra, and the slightly heavier Juvederm Ultra Plus. Typically one buys a syringe or two which are used on the same day, however some product can be refrigerated and saved for up to 6 months. Cost varies by geographic area and as well as the experience and skill of your injectionist. Avoid low price offers, as this is not a "Costco" item. The range can be between $350 to $625 per syringe, and the results are immediate. It's ok to shop price, but remember cheapest is often not best. Choose an experienced injectionist .
