So I had 1 syringe of under eye filler done in 2021. I got .5 ml on each side. Im currently sick with possibly the flu or some sort of respiratory illness. My left tear trough has swelled up like I had just got my filler done. I seriously thought the filler was gone because my under eyes look how they did before I got it done. My right eye has no swelling at all. Should I be concerned?!?
Hello, Back in november I had facial fillers done by a new doctor. My cheek and jaw fillers have settled down, while my chin fillers haven't. I have been administrated several anti-inflammatory injections and taken Dexason pills, all without effect. After a month of the swelling not going down, the doctor started dissolving my chin. It has been at least 3 rounds of hyaluronidase and I still have a bump in my chin when I speak. Also the fillers look purple. I am 30. thank you for your help.
Hi, I had juvederm ultra plus in my nasolabial folds nearly 2 years ago. It was always very unnatural looking, like it was swolle. Not red or tender, just swollen looking. was/am very unhappy and have been waiting patiently for this to dissolve, however it still looks like its there. I dont want to get more injections/dissolver as this has caused so much anxiety already. Will my face ever return to normal? I have read there is a rare reaction that causes swelling. Will thiis resololve?
Hi, I got lip fillers 7 weeks ago. After day 3 my lips started to get red, hot and I felt so much pain and tingles. I saw my doctor and I took 7 days prednisone, no change. My doctor injected Hyaluronidase, but my lips are still swelling. Now I take antibiotics and anti histamine pills. They hurt, the bottom lip is swelling and its red. Please help me as my doctor told me that he doesnt know what I have, in 7 years i got 6 ml of acid in my lips but never had reactions.
I had a nasolabial filler over a year ago with Juvederm and have now developed a lump under my right eye for the last 6 months which still has not been diagnosed after having ultrasound; seeing a dermatologist and now seeing a Maxillofacial specialist. The lump swells up if touched with an pressure and then goes down after some days or weeks. It also moves around my face but remains on the RHS. Can anyone help with what this might be. Hi!I got juvederm lip filler 2+ years ago and went to a reputable plastic surgeon. surgeon. He made a bunch of injections along my vermillion border as his technique. Once the swelling went down a few days later, I noticed this one little bump/blister that has since not gone away. It looks terrible, especially with lipstick on. I went back to him and he said to see if it goes away on its own.Its been years,will it really resolve on its own or do I need it dissolved/is it scar tissue? Thanks!
Hello! I had dermal fillers put on my nose, chin and lips. I had them done about 4 months ago. Today I noticed I have a little bit of pain and swelling in my chin and nose bridge fillers. It is not extremely noticeable, no redness for now, but I can definitely feel it. No swelling in the filler in my lips, but I also got a very small amount there. Is this something I should worry about?
2016 I had a skin test done to see if I would react to Juvederm Ultra XC. No reaction occurred but on the day we were set to inject the injector switched to Juvederm Ultra *Plus* XC. Immediately I had what seemed like an allergic reaction. My lips swelled quadruple their size. I was given antihistamine and they slowly started to shrink back. I've had successful lip injections since with a different brand and no nurse has seen this happen. I've had lidocaine in oral surgery w/ no issue.
Four months ago I got 0.5cc Juvederm Vollure for my broken nose. 0.1 cc for radix, 0.3 cc for tip and supratip, 0.1 cc for columella. Its swelling when I wake up, it becomes normal after sometime. Im thinking about to get a rhinoplasty but doctors says that I have to dissolve fillers first I dont want to use that enzyme to dissolve it since my skin is so thin. I saw a video and the doctor were saying that HA fillers arent go away overtime What should I do?
I had Juvederm XC injected 8 days ago. My upper lip has resolved all swelling and bruising but my bottom lip has a hard swollen lip line that turns white when I smile. It is uncomfortable to purse my lips and I am worried I was overfilled. Injector said to wait the full 2 weeks but I am nervous since my top lip seems fine.
