I'm nervous about having drains and doctor I've consulted with insists on using them. I know some doctors don't, but he does. He said he'll do some quilt suturing & hopefully this will reduce the time the drains have to stay in, but my concern is the potential for scars from the drains. It's bad enough having a scar hip to hip, I recognize that will happen, but I don't want two gaping holes "down there". I shave and that area will not be camouflaged by pubic hair. Do the drain holes leave scars?
