What is the Difference Between Artefill and Sculptra?

My doc told me that Artefill is not like sculptra -- that it fills immediately and does NOT go down. Is this true? Please also share any other differences you think should be considered between the two products.

Sculptra versus Artefill

Sculptra is a beta hydroxy acid that is injected into the skin to stimulate the production of your own collagen. It thickens thin skin and lasts about 2 years. It should not be used in the lips or about the eyelids. Artefill is a permanent filler. It will be in place forever, but the body does continue to... more
