Hi, Im 15 years old and have cystic fibrosis. Im about 5'0 and the doctor says im done growing. At birth I had Meconium ileus and a bowel resection. I have a scar right above my belly button going about 5-inches across my stomach that is indented and raised. My mom and I have discussed taking me to a plastic surgeon. I was just wondering if it was possible to make my scar less noticable?

Can happen when a high lateral type closure is done where tissue are pulled medially and the redundancy that ends up in the middle causes the crease. To get rid of it, you would have to consider either filling it with fat grafting or excise it with an anchor tummy tuck technique. ...
Hello, the bumps may be a reaction to the sutures and will likely resolve with time. Your mons can be improved with liposuction and/or removal of tissue directly. Please let your surgeon know your concerns, I'm sure he/she wants you to be happy with the result.
Hello and thank you for your question. You appear to be healing very well. You should defer to the post op instructions given by your plastic surgeon, but I allow my patients to do light cardio (walking) at 5 weeks post op and they are restriction free after 6 weeks.
