I recommend that it is worth having your doctor try to break down the product with hyaluronidase, but please wait for about 2 weeks after your treatment before considering this option.
Juvederm can be dissolved with hyaluronidase, which is injected, or it will go away on its own with time.
One of the nice things about HA fillers, like Juvederm and Restylane, is that we have an "antidote". It's called hyaluronidase - and it's an enzyme that can dissolve the offending HA filler. Most surgeons that use a lot of HA fillers have this on hand and can take care of this issue for you.
Removal of Juvederm. This can be done with Hyaluronidase if the surgeon knows what he is doing. NO SURGERY FOR THIS!
Greetings~ One of the great characteristics of Juvederm and the other HA tissue fillers is that they can be dissolved quite easily and quickly with hyaluronidase. It is not a difficult procedure and can quite quickly restore you to your pre-injection self. If you are unhappy with injections you've received, I would definitely recommend it. Good luck~ Dr. Grant Stevens
This can be done with hyalorindase - the surgeon that injected the filler should be able to do this for you. Good luck.
Vitrase an enzyme that dissolves HA's could be used. Results could take few days to a week to be noticed and may need to be repeated. Good luck
Juvederm can easily be removed with an injection called hyaluaronidase. This is a simple procedure that is easily perfomred in a doctor's office.
Juvederm can be disolved by injecting the area with Hyalurinidase, an enzyme that will disolve all Hyaluronic acids fillers.
Juvederm nasal fillers cannot be removed but the can be dissolved using injections of hyaluronidase. You are fortunate that a hyaluronic filler was used because many of the other fillers cannot be dissolved and surgical removal is difficult and complicated.
Juvederm is not permanent, lasting anywhere from 6 to 9 months in the average patient. If you prefer not to wait until it wears off, you can ask your physician (who did the injections) to inject hyaluronidase (Vitrase) into the areas which can help diminish the results of the Juvederm. I do not...
The lip can be quite reactive to treatments like filler injection and tend to have swelling a few weeks longer than some other parts of the face. Your best bet would be to check with the person who placed the Juvederm. You may be able to do massage to help soften the area, but it'd be best to...
There is no connection between Juvederm and breakouts that I am aware of. I see many women in my clinic who present complaining of new onset breakouts of acne, so it may be coincidental. Stressful events in life can be a source of breakouts. If the Juvederm injections...
I would not go out of my way to treat a pregnant patient with these as anything can happen in a pregnancy and we never want patient to blame it on something cosmetic that was done. However, I do not think that this should hurt your baby. Probably safer than the water we drink. I too injected...
I agree with the others! Follow up immediately with the provider whom treated you. This appears to be an injection and antibiotics and draining is recommended. Your provider will most likely take a culture and sensitivity of the drainage and send it to the lab for analysis...
Thanks for your question, At day 4 they may still be swollen, wait two weeks and by that time the filler should have integrated into the tissues and they should feel smoother. I would advise you let your medical practitioner know as they can massage out any lumps for you. If after two weeks you...
