Is a 660cc High Profile Implants Right for Me?

I am 5'10" and I weigh 220 pounds. I am very well built with wide shoulders and wide chest. My current bra size is 42A and they look "empty." I am opting for a 600cc high profile silicone implants. Do you think this would sound about right for me.

The best size breast implant is one that full fills your body image

While some women like small implants and others like big implants, the best implant size for you is the one meets your body image. There are certain measurements that have a bearing on what are reasonable limits on the best maximum size such as the base diameter of your breast as compared to the base diameter of the implant. The high profile have a narrower base diameter and there for you could have a larger implant size with a smaller base diameter. Make sure your plastic surgeon... more

660cc High Profile implants are the right choice for very few women...

Hi there- I think it is very important for you to find a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon and discuss your goals carefully. After an examination, and with an understanding of your goals, they will present you with some options and an understanding of the advantages and disadvantages of each. Based on this approach, the implants you describe would be the right choice for very few women and would be associated with a few elevated risks over the longer term... More information is needed to determine which breast implant is right for you

The best way to determine which implant is right for you would be to take a comprehensive history and then examine you. The base width of your breast will help determine an implant style which is right for you. You may be better served by a moderate profile implant that fits your frame. I allow my my patients to size with the actual implant in a sports bra to give you an idea of what you like accompanied by the info from your exam. Dr Edwards

Possibly...

You should work with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon and be examined.  If your body measures out to where this implant will fit, it will be fine.  At your overall size, this implant isn't all that large.

Use sizers and discuss with your plastic surgeon

There are many ways to accomplish or estimated breast sizing that are available on the internet and I would look into these. This is clearly a larger than average implant. However, your body dimensions are not average and in light of this, it could be considered a proportionate implant. There are other factors that contribute to the suitablility of this implant for your body type and this includes base diameter, breast constriction, ptosis (sagging), skin envelope, etc. Make this decision... more

It depends on the quality of skin and the shape of your natural breast

The size and shape of your natural breast will somewhat help to determine the type of implant to use. Given your hight and weight a 600 cc implant does not seem overly large and could very well work for you. Have a frank talk with your surgeon and let him know what you want an he or she will make reccommendation about type and size of implant to accomplish your goals. Dr T

660 cc implants

There's no accounting for taste--including mine! I'd like to know your age, reproductive history, whether you nursed, the position of your areolae and their diameter before  I could comment on size and shape of implants. In the end it's all about balance, equilibrium and harmony.
