Hi, I have recently done at home teeth bleaching (throught my dentist of course). My usual routine (outside of brushing twice a day) is to rinse my mouth with water and then chew sugar-free gum after I have had eaten or had a drink. I use Wrigleys Orbit or Extra and on some days I can chew 5+ pieces a day, is this okay? Also, I notice that although the chewing gum is white/off-white when I start chewing when I have finished it more cream, would this have any effect at actually staining teeth?

Answer: Can chewing gum screw up my teeth whitening?
You will not do any harm by attempting to whiten your teeth. If you do not get the results that you are looking for by whitening, then you will need to consider placing an all ceramic crown on that tooth. This could be matched perfectly to the other teeth. Good luck.
Oats and protein powder won't be a problem, it seems like you're doing fine. Long term, just keep in mind that you should use a whitening toothpaste at least part of the time and that your whitening should be touched up about once a year.
If you just brush after the coffee that will do the trick if not you could consider a very light coat very light coat of vasoline good luck
