Unfortunately here in Miami many patients try to save money by
having their procedure performed by non-plastic surgeons and at facilities that
have not been accredited and often have problems. 

In my practice, we use fat taken from other areas in the body and then inject it into the buttocks to add volume and shape. This is called a Brazilian Butt Lift or a BBL. Prices can vary depending on multiple factors. Location, doctor experience, and patient body type can all be reasons for variations in price. In my practice, the price includes the surgeon fees, hospital fees, and anesthesia fees. That is about $6500-10,000. An in-person consultation is the best way to get an accurate quote.

Hi. Every patient is different, so an evaluation would be needed before pricing. You can probably find the average costs of all procedures in different cities right here on Realself. But beware of choosing a surgeon solely on price.  Plastic surgery fees vary a lot from surgeon to surgeon, from place to place, and country to country. BBL pricing specifically varies depending on the technique and technology used as well. Vaser Lipo is more expensive then traditional lipo for example. Some patients might be smaller and there fore O.R time is less. This could translate to less costs and therefore a smaller fee.
Traveling for surgery, be that out of state or abroad, can make sense economically. This is why medical tourism works. It gives more people access to medicine worldwide. So it can be a good idea as long as you do your research. If you plan on traveling, make sure your Plastic Surgeon is Board Certified and is accessible before and after surgery.

The cost of a Brazilian Butt Augmentation varies greatly based on the surgeon's skill, location, and the patient. It is often done in conjunction with liposuction and cost will also depend on how many sections of the body the fat is harvested from. Different parts of the country have different averages based on the popularity of the procedure and even the amount of overhead the operating rooms have (ie: surgery in New York City will generally be more than in a rural area and hospital ORs are generally more expensive than outpatient or private ORs). The more time that is needed in the OR, the more expensive it can be, so patients who want liposuction to the front and the back of their body often have a higher cost than someone who only wants fat removed from the flanks and thighs since there is less repositioning and less time involved that way. Just remember, less expensive does not always mean it is a better deal. Many places cut costs by having inferior equipment or medications or by limiting the patient's contact with the physician before and after the procedure. I generally recommend that patients meet with a few physicians since it will be obvious if one is much more or less expensive than the "average".
