I am getting a Brow lift in 2 weeks and I am wondering how long the recovery is?
How much pain will I be in after the procedure and how safe is it?

It sounds like you're already scheduled for surgery. This is a question your surgeon should have gone over with you already.
In our San Francisco area practice we tell patients that it an endoscopic brow lift recovery is usually very straightforward with some pain for the first few days that is well controlled with pain medication. Patient sutures usually come out at one week and swelling and bruising usually resolves at about two weeks.

There are two general approaches to lifting the brow -- an open technique where the incision goes from one ear across the scalp in the hair line to the other ear. The other technique makes 1-3 small incisions in the hair line and the brow dissection is performed via the aid of a endoscopic camera through these small incisions.
In my hands, the recovery using the endoscopic technique is faster. Depending on their occupation, patients can return to work the next week.
Full recovery can take 6 months to a year although it really depends on the person and the techniques used. That's why you should discuss this with your doctor.
