I had a fourth removal treatment 6 days ago and I didn't have any bleeding, but did have slight bruising/ swelling. Almost all scabs have disappeared by now, but there are still little dark red dots everywhere. I feel they were much brighter red the first day, but considering this has been almost a week. Should I be worried that I still see them? The tattoo is on my ankle and had a lot of color, so I know it will take a while, but I don't think I had these issues with the other sessions.

In our practice we offer the PicoWay laser for tattoo removal. We recommend the use of Aquaphor post procedure to protect the layer of skin. Aquaphore will allow for proper healing. Thank you for your question, best of luck to you.
Based on your picture it looks like you are seeing a slight reduction in the ink from the tattoo. This is a very good sign as the tattoo is starting to break up the original tattoo. Continue to give it some time for your body to continue to heal and then return for another treatment to continue...
I believe you should revisit the medical office that treated you. Although what is shown in the picture is typical for about a week, 4 weeks there should be better healing. i am also concerned about the area of redness around the piece. you need to be checked for infection / inflamation. good luck.
