Hi, would like to know if it is normal for tattoo to be raised and bumpy after tattoo removal. There is no pain or redness whatsoever. Only the lasered area is raised, the skin around it is perfectly fine. I apply a very light layer of moisturiser to allow the skin to breathe and I have been taking antihistamines for the past 2 days. Is this just an inflammation due to immune response? I'm worried they might be keloids. I'm 75% covered in tattoos and have not suffered from keloid scars before
About 5 years ago, I began getting a small tattoo on my wrist removed. I used Q-switch and Picosure lasers over the course of 2-3 years. Now, in the two years since I have ceased treatments, the tattoo site randomly becomes red, inflamed, and raised. Any idea as to why this happens so seemingly randomly and so long after tattoo removal sessions have ceased? It only seems to happen once every few weeks at most, the rest of the time it is flat and flesh-colored.
I tied a non-laser tattoo removal tatt2away almost 2 years ago. Its a chemical injected under the skin . did 3 test spots. it scarred. I am so embarrassed. I could have simply live a little longer with my tattoo, it's not a scorned lover , not what I wanted Now I have a botched tattoo removal and I am considering restoring it. The test spots are leathery and slightly raised , Is there something I can do to smooth out and soften the bumps to allow for coverup? Or will laser successfully remove tattoo.
It seemed flat after the first week then became raised. I thought it was healing well as it didn't blister or anything. It is still itchy now 4 weeks on. Pic may not show how raised it is but it can be felt when you run your finger over it
I got a small tattoo nearly 6 years ago. It was not done by a professional and is all black ink. The tattoo is slightly raised in certain areas, possibly due to the tattoo artist pressing down too hard. What would happen if I tried to have this tattoo removed? Would it be possible to remove the black ink? I have had laser hair removal and other laser treatments without any issues.
Hi, been butchered by a untrained laser tattoo removal person who had fake qualifications otherwise would not have used! Ive got raised scarring and wondered is there any treatments to use to flatten or tighten loose skin so i can get covered up with another tattoo? Tryed co2 laser and skin peels so far , peels helped little but not no more and co2 was useless, please any advice be greatly appreciated!!
I have a tattoo on my upper arm , the outlines are scarred and raised (it is one year old) , it is all black , the outlines are pretty dense , the ink used is called Dynamic Ink , thats all i know. Ihave two options , i either go for Picosure treatment by a surgeon (he is doing it alrdy 4 years) , 300 EURS per treatment , or i go for PicoWay , with whom im going to take a consultation , i wanna do the outlines first then everything so , i wont run around with a half tattoo while in process.
