So I have done 4 laser treatments on this tattoo and have seen little to no progress. I am now considering getting the tattoo surgically excised. I found a doctor who specializes in tattoo excisions and he told me can do it in one go but since it's on my upper arm/ shoulder area the scar can be bad. Is this a bad idea? He said it's hard to have a clear idea of how I will scar since everyone is different but I scar generally well. I want this tattoo gone but I don't want to have a terrible scar.
I am interested in excision of this tattoo because no one will use the 532nm laser on the red part of my tattoo? I dont mind a scar and am not prone, if ever, to keloids. Would I be able to remove by excision or it is too large. It is the middle of my left arm.
Im a healthy, 37 year old female who has had 5 tattoo removal sessions over the last year. The tattoo is on my foot and has had persistent redness. It goes away temporarily after my feet are elevated or I am off them for a while. It gets worse after a hot shower. Its been persistent since the 2nd treatment. Ive stretched the sessions out to 3-4 months in between now. The tech said she thinks it will go away. How can I treat this to ensure its not permanent?
I'm 21 yrs old, female, white, and 5'2 in height. I just recently (as of yesterday) recieved some small hand tattoos. I find myself unhappy with the placement of 3 tattoos and would like to get them removed. They're all black, no color. On my right hand, I want the flower on my ring finger & some words on my hand, under my knuckles, taken off. The same placement is also on my left hand, other words, that I would like taken off.
I just got a small tattoo behind my ear. Im not happy with the placement so I am looking to possibly get it removed. I know there are many factors that go into tattoo removal, but I was wondering if there is any way to get an estimate on how many sessions it would take to remove it. Will it really take up to 10 sessions to remove something so small?
Hello. I have had 15 sessions to remove tattoo with lots of white ink. have not had oxidation until now. session 14 white highlights beginning to darken. expressed concern to tech that maybe i should discontinue treatments and consider a coverup. But he feels we should continue and that oxidized ink will fade with treatments. I am not sold on either. Getting a coverup or treatments. I do not believe this is to get more money from me as i already paid in advance. Picture 3 before oxidation.
Im a 36-year-old woman in the process of cosmetic ink (microblading) tattoo removal of eyebrows done in 2017 w/ x2 touch-ups. Pigment is inorganic/organic (mostly inorganic); green and yellow bases, some red and little orange. 7-8 treatments w/ Spectra ndyag and Picosure laser; little fading (Spectra majority and Picosure only twice), followed by 4 saline removal sessions. About to see new dermatologist w/ Enlighten Cutera. Thoughts and advice on removal at this point in time? Thanks!
