I'm African-American (dark-skinned) and I have pitted and pigmented acne scars on my back. What acne scar treatment would be good for me? Will it be covered by Medicaid?

Avoid the laser

With darkly complected skin you should avoid the laser. You could do a Melanage chemical peel which will help more with the pigmentation than with the scars. Un- fortunately none of this is covered by Medicaid.
