It all depends on the amount of volume that you need

Will one syringe of restylane plump both lips?

The issue of how many syringes are needed all depends on the amount of volume replacement or enhancement you are seeking. My suggestion is to start with one syringe and then if you feel you need it, you can always add another syringe. It is best to under fill at first since it is much easier to add more volume later than try to remove product already placed. Good luck with your injections.

A: In almost all cases the answer would be yes!

For almost all cases, one syringe of Restylane will be enough to have adequate filling of the lips. In fact, in my experience, most patients even have a little extra left over to treat other areas of the face at the same time if needed.

A: Some people may need more than one syringe

For some people, yes and others might need a little more. Some need less and there might be left over for other areas if you desire. Restylane does have a smaller syringe so if the doctor thinks you don’t need a full syringe, you might save some money using the smaller syringe.

For people who want a very small change, then one syringe is probably enough. I find that many patients require more than one syringe for significant or noticeable results.
