Two week recovery time for a browlift

William Portuese, MD answers: How long is the recovery from Brow Lift?

I am getting a Brow lift in 2 weeks and I am wondering how long the recovery is?

How much pain will I be in after the procedure and how safe is it?

The browlift procedure is not a painful operation. Most patients take a few pain pills the first night or two to help get some sleep. The recovery time for the patient to return to normal social activities and physical exercise is two weeks. As far as safety goes, it is a very safe and predictable procedure when performed by experienced hands.

The recovery from a brow lift is typically complete at 2 weeks.  During the early phase of the recovery it is common to have headaches and swelling and bruising that settles under the lower eyelids.  All of this goes away in 14 days though.
