Do I need to have a combination of both to acheive a lifted breast? Or if I do the breast reduction, will that give me a lift in my breasts?

Breast lift is an integral part of standard breast reductions.  The breast tissue is reshaped and lifted after removal of breast tissue.  It is also possible to do a breast reduction with liposuction alone but few patients are ideal candidates.  Breast lift without reduction or with augmentation are also possible, depending on your desired size of the breasts.
