Post-Pregnancy Procedures
Motherhood often involves unwanted changes to a woman’s body that can be impossible to reverse with diet and exercise alone. At my practice in the Scottsdale area, I offer full mommy makeovers, a combination of surgical procedures that can restore a patient’s pre-baby physique. Each mommy makeover is tailored to the individual’s concerns and goals. Because the tummy and breasts usually undergo the most changes during pregnancy and breastfeeding, the procedure frequently combines breast augmentation (often with a breast lift) to restore the volume and position of the breasts; a tummy tuck to remove excess skin and tighten the abdominal muscles; and liposuction to remove stubborn fat deposits. Breast Surgery
Breast augmentation techniques and breast implants have come a long way in just the last few years—no more long recoveries or unnatural-looking results. At my practice in Chandler, Arizona, breast implant surgery is one of the most in-demand cosmetic procedures. It can dramatically enhance the size and shape of the breasts and be very rewarding, when performed on the right patient. During a consultation, I use the Vectra 3D studio to let you preview different styles and sizes of implants on your body and help you decide exactly how you want to look after the surgery. I also offer breast lifts and breast reductions, including male breast reduction (gynecomastia surgery). All of these procedures can create results that look natural and balanced—and give patients feel more comfortable and confident.

Dr. Roberto Gonzalez is a board-certified plastic surgeon with over 15 years of experience, practicing at Ciao Bella Cosmetic Surgery and Vein Clinic in Chandler, Arizona. His primary areas of expertise include breast augmentation, tummy tucks, and liposuction, as well as customized mommy makeovers. He also offers Brazilian butt lifts, eyelid surgery, and surgical body contouring, including arm lifts, thigh lifts, and gynecomastia surgery (male breast reduction).
In addition to cosmetic surgery, he has performed complex reconstructions for orthopedic and facial trauma and helped doctors in other specialties with their patients who have wound complications.
Born in Tampico, Mexico, Dr. Gonzalez realized his interest in medicine while studying in the United States and shadowing his uncle, Dr. Jose Luis Cruzzavala, a cardiac surgeon at West Virginia University.
Upon returning to Mexico, Dr. Gonzalez received his medical degree from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education. He later returned to West Virginia University as a research fellow in plastic surgery, becoming deeply involved in research and helping publish multiple papers. Dr. Gonzalez continued his training in general surgery before completing his plastic surgery fellowship at the University of Louisville in Kentucky.
Dr. Gonzalez is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
