Transconjunctival fat removal could be the answer

Hisham Seify, MD, PhD answers: Can eye bags and fat be removed without blepharoplasty?

I have had two eyelifts on the lower lid and there is not a lot of elasticity left. However, I have fat under one eye and would like to if possible have it removed. Is this possible?

Multiple lower lid surgery increase your chances for having complications. If you had two previous surgeries and still have some fat deposits, it seems that a transconjunctival fat removal is an ideal answer. A canthopexy procedure might need to be added for better lower lid support.

There is also a procedure to remove lower lid fat from an upper eye lid approach (the no touch technique), however this limits the fat manipulation. Hope that helps!
