I had a consult w a great ps the other day. I am 5'4" 98lbs 27" ribcage. She said 250cc will bring me to a 32d and because im so small I shouldnt go any larger. I trust her but based on my research I feel this will only bring me to a b or small c
Answer: AA to D cup with a 250cc implant. I don't think so.
The average implant in my practice is about 300 cc and will take most smaller busted women to the C cup range. A change to a D cup would require a significantly bigger implant.

Answer: Final cup size
Hi. By your measurements, you are quite petite. Even so, I think it would be unlikely for you to get to a D cup with a 250 cc implant. I suspect it would get you in the 32C range - but that's just an intelligent guess.
Go with an implant size and shape that looks nice and proportional for your frame - don't aim for a particular bra size.

Answer: Breast Implant and Bras
Hello,
Like the others, I am not found of making predictions with implants and bras. It's best to bring in photos of how you want to look, and let the doctor determine what size implant will get you close.
I think that there is a bigger issue here. You are petite at 98 lbs. and 27 inch ribcage, regardless of your height. A larger implant may not fit your chest anatomy well, and could lead to a higher risk of complications if chosen.
I agree with you, I think your ps is great for choosing what seems to be an appropriately sized implant for you anatomy. You should ask her if she had concerns about larger implants causing problems with you. If she says yes, you should heed her concerns.
Best of luck!

Answer: 250cc implants
Dear researcher,
Well , it all depends on the chest and breasts measurments. Your calculated BMI is about 17. You are indeed very small. If your chest circumference is 27" and your breasts cup size is 'aa', than your surgeon is in a way correct. A 250cc implants will increase your breast size by about 3 sizes to a 27 full C. The problem is that the bra manufacturers start making the bras for adults from size 32 . In that case, a 250cc will bring you to 32 full B or small C. So, if your goal is a 32 D cup, than the more correct size is 350cc or 375cc. I hope this help.
Best of luck,
Dr Widder

Answer: Will 250cc implants take you from a 32AA to a 32D? ANSWER: Probably not.
Regardless of your small frame, you are not tiny at 5'4", and 250cc will likely add only about a cup size or so to your present breast size.
Bra sizes are so variable that this (32AA to 32D) is by no means impossible, but adding 250cc to what you presently have for breast volume (not much) will yield larger breasts, but likely not a 32D, even at Victoria's Secret, where the bras sizes tend to have larger letters for slightly smaller breasts. (This makes most women feel good about themselves--not a bad thing!)
Try on implants in a bra and stretchy top before deciding. Also plan on having your surgeon add about 50cc to your chosen "best size" in order to compensate for the below-the-muscle compression effect you don't see when trying on implants in a bra.
Perhaps this is your surgeon's backhanded way of recommending only 250cc implants for you. While this may look "just fine" in your surgeon's aesthetic eyes, what if YOU feel you are still too small? Please ask about your surgeon's re-do or "larger implant" revisionary surgery cost policies. Or obtain another consultation or two before you commit. You really don't want to have to re-operate to do what should have been done as thoughtfully as possible the first time around. Best wishes!
