Police bust silicone butt injection pumping party
Miami police just busted a 22 year old man for setting up a "pumping party" at the Inter-Continental Miami West Hotel. Three female undercover officers scheduled an injection session with the man, who has allegedly been perfoming this injection procedure in the area for some time.
From the police report:
"On June 10, 2008, [the detective], while acting in an undercover capacity, made a controlled phone call to the defendant's cellphone and scheduled an appointment for her and two additional females to have the buttocks enhancement performed on them for $500 each in U.S. currency.
"The appointment was scheduled for the . . . hotel at 7 p.m. The defendant explained to the detectives that he was going to perform the surgical procedures to enhance the buttocks by using syringes with an unknown substance. The procedure consists of several injections on the buttocks.''
The Herald asked Miami plastic surgeon Dr. Seth Thaller, chief of plastic surgery at the University of Miami School of Medicine to comment on the situation. Dr. Thaller said, "People get themselves injected with God-knows-what. What I want to ask them is, What were you thinking?''
