I will be getting liposuction in 2 weeks time on my upper, lower, flanks and bra strap area. 1) will it be okay/safe to also get my arms done via liposuction one week after my first operation? 2) Are there any benefits with liposuction -in alleviating IBS symptoms ie. improved waste expelling, removal of toxins, reduced bloathing, etc & 3) can I undergo the Cool Sculpting method 1 week after my abdomen liposuction or are there safety issues I should be aware of? Looking forward to your answers.
My friend (yeah, right :) is considering ultrasound contouring, and I am helping with his research. Ultrashape has apparently been used here in Canada for some time, and Liposonix is expected to obtain approval soon. The representatives of Liposonix of course claim its superiority over Ultrashape in terms of results, but I am wondering whether there are independenet clinical trials of each, and whether either is superior. He has been told that he is an ideal candidate for Ultrashape, needing only fairly small areas of superficial fat emulsified. The bottom line of this question is whether he should go ahead with the Ultrashape, or wait until Liposonix is available? (or do neither, if clinical trials have shown little benefit).
I had Liposonix on my arms 3 days ago. While there was no bruising on the day1 (just soreness/tenderness), palm-sized deep purple bruises appeared on each arms the next day. On day 2 I started taking homeopathic Arnicar pellets and applying Arnica gel to the bruise and saw minor improvements on day 3 (ie. today) It has been 3 full days after the procedure, is this amount of bruising normal? At this rate, is it likely that the bruises will go away in 2 weeks? What can I do to speed up the process?
I could initially pinch about 1.5 inches of fat on my belly for my first Liposonix treatment. It's now been 3 months and I can pinch only about an inch. If I pay for and get a second treatment using the same power settings and passes and area (everything the same), will I DEFINITELY loose the same amount of fat as the first time? If not, why not? Are there any studies done confirming that multiple treatments multiply your results?
I had liposonix done on my lower abdomen two days ago. 6 squares, 3 passes at 60 jules each. I have had no swelling, bruising or pain since the treatment. In fact I don't feel like I had anything done at all. Could this mean the treatment didn't work for me?
