What happens if you do liposonix in less than one inch of fat?

The Liposonix treatment takes advantage of
revolutionary “smart technology”: the gentle ultrasound waves travel through
the superficial skin without any noticeable interference on the surface. But
deep within the fatty tissue layers, the ultrasound is bundled to a powerful
beam that melts and permanently destroys unwanted fat cell. Treatment depth is
about 1 cm (just short of ½ inch) and it is therefore very unlikely that it negative
affect the efficacy of your treatment.

It is unlikely that there will be any problem. The device does not send energy deep enough to damage the muscle. You should be fine. Hopefully you will get some additional fat reduction!

The liposonix beam is calibrated to work at 1.3 cm below the skin surface.  This is less than inch and you should be fine.  Below the fat is muscle which is highly vascularized and typically unaffected by the beam.
