I am 58 with history of adolescent and young adult acne. I have many enlarged hardened sebaceous glands below corners of mouth and on cheek. They are between the wrinkled creases. They aren't raised up much, but they can be felt and are definitely visible under the surface when I stretch the skin over. Would Fraxel make these go away, or will it make them show more so should I have the sebaceous hyperplasia treated first?
I paid one thousand eight hundred pounds last year, for four sessions of Titan laser treatment. on the font of my neck last year, and there was no improvement to my neck at all. I am 64years old, my face is very good, but the front of my neck from my chin to the bottom of my neck, is now very crapey. fraxel, has now been recommended, but I am unshure of having it done, in case it doesnt work, and I lose even more money. What would you suggest please. Thanking you in anticipation. Vivien.
I am a 64 yo female who would like to do Fraxel laser treatments for the improvement of skin texture and fine wrinkles. I cannot use the typical topical numbing cream as I do not metabolize any of the caine medications. I don't have a typical IgE mediated allergy, but rather an inability to metabolize the drugs (this is the opinion of an extensive allergy and immunology workup). Can this procedure be tolerated without numbing cream?
I am a recent 60 year old man and would like to tighten up, reduce wrinkles and damage from an old scar but mostly get rid of all the red blotches and kertosis. I have very light skin and thin from losing weight. I have downtime now and may move soon so wanted only one treatment
I am 57 years old and have deep smoker's lines I want to get rid of. They have the appearance of scars by now. I have never smoked and being light skinned, I have always been careful with the sun. I am considering Fraxel laser but I'm hesitant 69-70% satisfaction with this treatment seems a little unsafe and I would like to know which factors might affect the results of the treatment and contribute to a less than optimal result. Thank you!
I am a 60 year old female who had fraxel repair between 6-7 years ago. The result was excellent. I am looking to get it done again for lines around my mouth and lower cheeks and a couple of age spots. I am of irish descent and very fair skinned with freckiling.
What is the best non invasive treatment to create more volume and firmness around the eyes. Fraxel has been suggested, but I'm afraid that it may be too aggressive on thin skin. I am 56 I had an upper and lower bleph carried out about 9 years ago, but now have quite a bit of laxity on the upper eye area, lower eye area isn't too bad, but would like to improve the firmness there.
