Have you tried treating your acne or other skin probem using an LED device, whether at home or at a dermatologists office?  What are the pros/cons?

I am an African American female in her mid fifties. I recently purchased a hand held LED light therapy unit (red with infrared). I used it for 11 days and I have noticed that I am experiencing more hyperpigmentation in my skin. I was looking for it to help even out my skin tone, but now, my face and neck areas are darker than the rest of my body. I need to know if this is normal considering...

Hi I've just started using red light therapy and after the 4th treatment noticed hyperpigmentation on my face. Whether it's old hyperpigmentaion resurfacing or new caused by the red light I don't know. I haven't had visible hyperpigmentation for years due to sunscreen and keeping out of the sun.I am confused about the red light / angel light as it claims to be good for pigmentation. For those...

Hi everyone! I purchased a high quality full body red light panel In April and have been using it 3 times a week. Since May I have been getting my period every 2 weeks when it is usually every 4. I just turned 35 and am not sure if the red light cycle is increasing my menstruated cycle or if I am going through some premature menopause (although I am not experiencing any other symptoms). Has...

Has anyone experienced negative results besides hyperpigmentation such as redness..saggy skin?I am new to this and have the home dpl 2 ..any tips on how long to use it and any products that work good with it?

I used a home led device as recommended red light for 2 days and once with the blue light as my skin seemed that it had purged, and I was getting spots. Since then, my skin has got progressively worse and appears burned and blisters have developed. I have spoken with the company. I am in a village with no easy access to a doctor or Dermatologist. My request in the immediate instance..... is...

Hi, I've been using Project E's mesotherapy wand since October 2020 but the last few times I've used it, I've gotten very mild peeling/flaky skin at the corners of my mouth. Is this normal? I was using it twice a week but now gone to once a week because of the peeling.

I have a EVIS Red Light Therapy device, and it came with very little literature, so my question is...should I apply the wand directly to my face/neck and keep it still for the 3 minutes or is it necessary I move the wand in a circular motion? Thank you for any advice.

I’ve been using mostly green occasionally red LED mask (aduro) for several months now for hyperpigmentation. I feel like my hyperpigmentation is getting worse not better. I hear so many contradicting info . Can someone help?

Options: Deesse Brand and Opera Brand seem to be made in South Korea. Dr. Dennis Gross's is made in the states but doesn't come with a neck attachment. They range from $99. to $2,300. But I don't see a strong difference between them.

Hi, I am interested in purchasing a red / near infrared light therapy device. There are quite a few a light therapy devices available on the market these days. They seems fail into two main categories. 1. Handheld devices, like the LZR Ultrabrite, that provide a small treatment area and are used for a short duration. 30 sec to 2 minutes 2. Large panel devices like the Joov...

Hi there... thanks so much for allowing me to join. Really hope that someone can help me out, am a newbie to Red LED Light Therapy and purchased one 3 days again, have used it since and now have a red rash and extremely dry skin. Also when moving the product around my face it feels like needles going into my skin and on some places it gets so hot that I need to move it off that area. Anyone...

July of 2011 I got saline breast implants. I joined a gym last week that offers Red light Therapy to help with fine lines and wrinkles, brown spots on the skin, injury or pain and other things. It sounds great but I am afraid because I want to be sure that the treatments do not effect my breast implants. Has anyone had any experience with this? I asked my surgeon but he doesn't know much about it.

Hi,   Has anyone experienced the long-term effects of the light treatments?  I have purchased a Prolight at home device.  Only used it on my face 4 times over four weeks.  It has been now about 15 days since my last treatment.  I think my skin looks definitely more saggy then it did before I started using it.  While I looked great the day after each treatment, I...

Does anyone know about the Marvel Mini - a natural wrinkle treatment device sold at nordstroms. looks like a lint brush but is a LED light that is supposed to get rid of age spots and wrinkles. The marvel website says: 'The Marvel-Mini is a handheld device that employs light therapy technology, based on discoveries of how certain light frequencies can influence skin tissue. Red light is...
