Did anyone have pain from side sleeping on the pillow or from over the ear headphones that were not large enough to cover your ears? Or pain from hats or headbands or bandanas or head scarves that have to be covered because the ears were too large and it caused pain? Then did you experience less pain after you healed from the same activity or wear?

Has anyone done earlobe reduction or repair in Canada? With whom and do you recommend them? Thanks

I'm looking for the best of the best but I see very few surgeons who do a lot of work with ears. My case would definitely require an artful hand. If I were to have an ear procedure done, I would save for the best, so cost wouldn't be an issue. Does anyone have any advice or recommendations? Thanks

Hello- I was wondering for people that had "minimally invasive" /permanent suture technique for otoplasty did pain and sensitivity ever subside and if so how long after surgery? I read a few reports on here of excrutiating pain (one woman for years has not improved) and wanted to see if there were others that experienced this. I am in researching stage

Hi, I am thinking about getting the sticth method (no incision otoplasty) but can't find much info how it ends up long term. Could anyone please tell me how they went if they have done this? And if your ears stayed pinned back or have they protruded over time? Also if stiches ever come to surface of skin and cause any problems? Can you feel the stiches at all? It seems to good to be true the...

I’ve heard of incisionless otoplasty and how it requires less bandaging/recovery. I had surgical otoplasty a little over 2 years ago and the tops of my ears starting protruding again. Where can I get the incisionless otoplasty done in either NC or SC?

1,5 years ago, I had an ear pinning surgery. The result looks absolutely horrible, and I want a better result. Who can I turn to on mainland Europe? Is there anyone else out there except dr. David Gault? Who can you recommend?

I had otoplasty done about 5 years ago. I had them redone because the shape never stayed. After the last one it was great but now the upper part of the ears came out. I had the left ear done 3 times and the right 2 times. After having so many corrections, is it ok to go back under the knife? Perhaps with a different surgeon who may have perfected the craft a little better?

Hello. Had anybody had the earfold surgery. I had otoplasty over a year ago. Because I've my age the tops have come back.Earfold seemed great. Went for a consultation in London. Was quoted £4000. Hi I have always wanted to get my ears pinned back. I'm getting older and now feel like I have to because of some hair thinning!. I need a recommendation for a great Dr please

Can anyone recommend a good otoplasty surgeon in the UK? I’m looking to pay up to £2000 for this procedure.

Hi guys,I know this may have been asked before, but I'm looking to find good quality reviews for EarFold surgery. There's a few on here on realself, which report mixed results. Thus I was wondering if anyone else also wanted to share their experience to help me come to a decision.Anyone who has had earfold surgery, please could you let me know:1) Where you had it?2) Are you happy...

I rencently had surgery on 26th of April for releasing the the of my right ear called cryptotia. It sticks out but it is a lot thicker that side then it is my left so I was thinking it could need the cartilage reshaped?

Hello,I had otoplasy in 7th grade and I'm wondering if my kids will likely have protruding ears as well. For those of you with kids, did they inherent your protruding ears?In most kids I see, it looks like they typically get the ears of the father. For the record, I am a male but my dad doesn't have protruding ears. My older brother doesn't have them either.I'm hoping my case was a...

I'm looking for revision surgery by someone who specializes only in ears. Many great surgeons can do a standard pinning, but I need a real artist who's known for this one specific surgical area. In other words, who is "today's Burton Brent", but not for microtia, but otoplasty in general? Thank you very much.

I am reading about Waldemar Merck, MD.Obviously, such a non-surgical procedure looks attractive. The doctor claims that there are more than 8000 patients have had their ears corrected. However, there are 2-3 public reviews on the internet on his method. Why is that ?

I need to have a piece of scar cartilage removed from my ear and I am wondering how will i be able to find an experienced surgeon for this procedure?
