What to Tell Co-workers About Otoplasty?

I had otoplasty done 7 days ago and tomorrow i go back to work. I still have stitches in the folds of my ear which are very visible and i'm not sure how to hid them. I did buy a runners headband which cover the ears and will be wearing it both for healing and concealing for at least 2 additional weeks before my stitches come out. What do i tell my co-workers? I dont want them to know, is there a cover story i can come up with?

You could say that you had to have inner ear surgery to correct a burst eardrum or clogged ear tubes. People can be so judgemental :( But as long as they don't think it's cosmetic surgery then I doubt they'll question it much.

Good luck!

Thanks. I told them i had an ear infection. I wear a runners headband to hold the ears back and also to hide the stitches. So far they've been buying it....
