So today is my 3rd day post op. I'm actually becoming a little more mobile as the days pass but this morning I woke up to a burning sensation throughout my lower back and incision. My back is also so numb from the Lipo and it feels so strange. The sensation is intense but bearable most of the time. I also haven't been able to do a bowl movement. I started taking Ducolax (stool softner)... more

Hi Everyone! I'm 26 years old and have 2 beautiful boys. I have always been skinny and small, but when I get pregnant...I get PREGNANT! My first born I gained 70lbs, which was mainly water retention and a big belly. I lost it all right away but suffered a lot of stretch marks and some loose skin. 3 years later I had my second son. With his pregnancy I gained 85lbs and my belly was twice the... more
Who said African Americans don't get plastic surgery? After having several beautiful children and repeated battles with weight gain and weight loss my stomach was left looking like a partially deflated balloon.
At the beginning of 2014 I starred off at a weight of 203 on my 5'5 frame. After diet and exercise I worked my weight down to 177 and saw results almost everywhere but my belly. ... more
In Feb. 2012 I had life saving surgery for a ruptured colon and was given a colostomy, e.g. a bag attached to my intestine. The colostomy was, thankfully, reversed and I was left with a large bulge and a deep indentation on my left side. I was so self-conscious and felt deformed. Having the tummy tuck was the best thing I could do for my self-esteem. My doctor was wonderful. He really... more
I am having a full tummy tuck with Liposuction through Dr. Saunders in Wilmington, DE. I have struggled with this "pouch" all my life and am so excited about this life changing moment that's coming up. Dr. Saunders has been very welcoming and honest about what to expect. I did the worst thing the other day though I googled "tummy tuck procedure" on youtube yesterday and watched an actual... more

I am 41 married and Mom to 2 kiddos

After 2 pregnancies which packed on lots of weight I decided to have Gastric Bypass in 2010. The surgery was very successful for me and I lost total of 130 pounds!!! I am 4 years post op from that surgery and I wasn't completely... more
I was satisfied with my tummy tuck surgery. Dr. LaVan corrected my stomach with a full tummy tuck after having lipo done someplace else that made my stomach skin looser. I am most happy that the tummy tuck scar is very thin and practically unnoticeable. I have a flat stomach and you can see the outline of my six pack and with exercise it makes it even better looking. I would definitely... more

After my third baby my stomach never went back. I am 110lbs, but if I don't suck in I look three months pregnant. If I do suck in, I have a wrinkly old lady belly. Looks bad either way.
I also have an umbilical hernia which will be corrected at the same time. This portion is being billed to insurance and I am unsure of the cost.
I met with a couple Doctors, and I had the most confidence in... more
I have diastasis and an umbilical hernia and they are doing a full tummy tuck at the same time. I am looking forward to working out without my insides poking through...gross. I am anxious about the recovery, especially with limited help. I am also anxious about the time to getting back to normal. Patience is not my strongest quality. :-)

I'm and ready to live again. My husband passed over 3 years ago. The kids are all grown and I've decided it's now time to get started on my bucket list.
I've wanted to have a TT for some time. But other things always were more important.
I've gotten to the point where I hate to look in the mirror.

We'll I made my schedule tt, 1/13/14, waited a long time for this. I had Brest reduction in 1983, when I was 26. I enjoy all of you. Looking forward to being a part of the "flat... more
I am 22 years old, 5'0" and for most of my childhood I was overweight When I was in the 11th grade I hit my peak weight at 183 lbs.
