What types of procedures are used for these "1 hour lifts" as advertised by Lifestyle Lift Centers that I saw on TV. (http://www.lifestylelift.com/)
There will never be the longtime results from a hastily performed one hour facelift that will be possible with a properly performed facelift performed by well trained professionals. This has been seen many times as I continue to evaluate the inadequate surgical results that is evident in many of the patients who have had these procedures performed , and who continue to be unhappy with the longevity of the results. Don't be influenced by advertisements and claims made as opposed to the more important comments from actual patients. Good luck to you.

I heard about the Miracle Facelift on TV and was wondering how it is non surgical? What types of fillers are used to achieve the refreshed and youthful look? Thank you for your input.
Filling wrinkles with filler products, whether the filler is a form of Radiesse, Juvederm. Restylane, Perlene or even the longer lasting Artecoll only plump out the skin, just as does fat injections. There will be no tissue tightening or skin removal as is often required to give a long lasting lift as most of us desire. There is nothing miraculous about a Miracle Lift, except the possible profits that the non surgeon may reap from trying to convince the public that the results are comparable. Please do your homework and consider what you really want from this interest in youthful improvement. Surgery stands alone as the most successful of the efforts. There is nothing wrong with the use of fillers- I use them all of the time in my practice, but they will not give the results that surgery offers.
Good luck to you.

When you hear about a face lift you hear the doctors say they have to re position the muscles in the face opposed to what seems to be the obvious thing to do and that is to just pull the skin back and sow???
Years ago a facelift only involved pulling the skin and creating a firm appearing lift that would look pretty good for several years. The problem with this idea was that the hope of the patient was that a lift could persist for a longer period of time, The concept today is to strengthen the support for the lift by supporting the muscular structures with internal suturing. This will add many years to the longevity and strength of the lift. The current , modern facelift should always offer internal strengthening and support with one of several suture techniques availlable. Better results and longer lasting improvements will be the results of this action.
