3 Tips to Viewing Eyelid Surgery Before & After Photos

Because everyone's eyelid is different, you won't be able to completely predict your own results from looking at photos, so here are some things to keep in mind when viewing the blepharoplasty photo gallery:

1. You're unique, so are eyelid lifts. Eyelid surgery procedures are individualized depending upon the patient's needs, so there isn't just a "cookie cutter" approach that works for everyone

2. Look for who resembles you "before" surgery. When looking at pictures of Eyelid Surgery (or any procedure for that matter) look for patients who have the same general facial structure and appearance as you do

3. Scars are difficult to detect.  Most eye lid procedures leave a very small and barely perceptible surgery scar. Thus, look at the appearance of the eye and the amount of skin that is left post-op.

Bottom line: The Blepharoplasty results you see in before and after photos give you a good sense of a plastic surgeon's skills and experience.
