SkinMedica TNS LipPlump System was worth it
I have tried more topical lip enhancers/plumpers than I'd care to admit, and was underwhelmed by most. While searching for a new skin care line, I came across the TNS LipPlump System as a featured product on the SkinMedica web site. I read the description, ingredient lists, and instructions for use, and decided to give it a whirl.
It's a 2-step system, consisting of a creamy-ish moisturizer (containing the TNS), followed by a clear plumping liquid. It's very simple to apply, and I like the slender silver (one matte, one glossy) "click to dispense" tubes.
Step 1 - Lip Renewal - feels very hydrating, and I can see it "filling in" the interior lines of my lips as soon as I apply it. It leaves my lips feeling super-soft, and appearing even slightly more plump.
Setp 2 - Lip Plumper - reminds me a lot of LipFusion XXL, only it isn't nearly as sticky or "goopy" feeling as the LipFusion I recall. My lips start tingling almost immediately after application, but it's not an uncomfortable-bordering-on-painful stinging like I've gotten with some other lip plumpers... it's just a pleasant little tingle. (According to the package insert, this is due to the formula's inclusion of Niacin). My lips also get a nice rosy flush from the increased circulation, and the clear, non-sticky shine is perfect for any look - from natural to glamorous.
At $47.50, it's pricier than many of the other available lip plumpers, but I like the way it performs. I also like that it provides not only "instant gratification" via the boost from the plumping gloss, but enhanced, enduring results (from the Renewal portion) with continued use. This one's a keeper for sure!
