Silicone breast implant reviews

Silicone breast implant surgery may offer a natural looking and feeling solution for breast augmentation and enlargement. Silicone breast implants have an outer shell, also made of silicone, that is filled with a fixed amount of silicone gel. Silicone breast implants were approved by the FDA in 2006.  Silicone implants cost on average $7,000.

Good to know: Plastic surgeons consider silicone implants safe. To avoid problems with breaking or leaking, the shells of silicone implants have been made thicker than original ones. Also, now the gel is more like a gummy-bear-type rather than pure liquid, which should prevent the silicone from leaking into the body.
