I had the surgery to increase the symmetry between my ears and have a natural looking appearance, which is exactly what Dr. Le gave me (I was born with a hematoma behind my left ear, and its removal at a young age left my ears asymmetric). The results were just what I wanted.

Recovery was no where near as bad as I thought it was going to be. There was really no reason for pain pills (and I am a sissy when it comes to pain) healing went well.

It really made a big difference to me. I can wear my hair up without feeling self-conscious. I had both ears done in 2005. I'm a side sleeper so it was uncomfortable to sleep on my back for several days. No serious pain after the first night.
