Breast reduction
Breast reduction surgery, known as reduction mammaplasty, is plastic surgery to reduce the size and shape of breasts. Breast reduction surgery has 3 objectives:
- Remove the excess breast tissue, thereby reducing the weight of the breast
- Shape, lift and contour the remaining breast tissue
- Elevate the nipple position on the breast
