The difference between Coolsculpting and Vanquish is that those two systems use very different energy systems. Coolsculpting freezes the fat, everybody knows about that, whereas Vanquish uses radio frequency wavelengths to melt the subcutaneous fat. The way that we use these two procedures is really comprehensively. I'll look at a patient. If a patient is really of a broader stature, then we'll use Vanquish treatment. That is very applicable for the midsection. If patients have smaller areas they would like to reduce, then we many times, we'll go to Coolsculpting, where we drop the temperature in a focal area.

I like using Excellus, which is another radio frequency based procedure, we use that energy to really tone and lift the body. I love using it, particularly on the abdominal area, and for the area on the neck, as well as arms and legs.
