The risks of face lift surgery are risks of any surgery. First we're making an incision. Although it's very, very, rare to have any healing problems, scarring is always a concern. That's why it's critical for us to place those incisions in hideable or camouflage-able areas so that they heal away very nicely. The other risks of face lift surgery include bleeding or hematomal blood collections. Fluid collections are very rare. Infections are also fortunately very, very, rare. There's always a very small chance of numbness, sensory changes, or facial asymmetries that could occur.
