There are lots of things we can do to minimize scarring. The first thing is to put creams on. Your doctor can probably recommend a number of creams that will be beneficial, so an antioxidant creams and some silicone-based creams. There's silicone sheeting that patients can use, and there are lasers. And the lasers are critically important. The lasers can be resurfacing lasers, and they can be AFT or Advanced Fluorescence Technology lasers. Now, it seems like all of these things are, "Wow, that's a lot of work to do for my incisions," but if you want them to look their best, it's worth it.
