A facelift procedure can be performed as an outpatient procedure or may require an overnight stay depending on the length of the procedure and your overall health status. The recovery of the facelift, we basically recommend that you hold off from going to work for about seven to ten days. You may have some mild bruising that can be easily camouflaged with mineral-based makeup which we can guide you with. Most of my patients are comfortable to go back to work within about seven to ten days after their surgery. I will recommend no heavy lifting or strenuous activity for about three to four weeks just to give time for the incisions to heal. Most patients are able to get back to their regular duties, go back to meetings, enjoy social functions within seven to ten days.
