Hello, I had a consult with my trusted board certified PS. I am not wanting a tummy tuck. I was thinking lipo because it shows more results than CoolSculpting. Doctor advised Vaser for hips and outer thighs but not my stomach-3 kids and laxity and would require a TT. How many inches can I loose? Any skin discoloration? I'm fair skin and I also get Varicose Veins and do not want to make worse and get treatment annually. I was told pain is about 10 days. In my 50's. Thank you . :)
I am 52 yrs. old and had Vaser smooth on front of thighs along with lipo of inner/ back of thighs almost a year ago. PS did a fat transfer to my butt. I was only 120 lbs when had surgery. I just recently started noticing this discoloration, which goes away when I sit down. i am worried about it getting worse. Please help.. Thank you, Regina
Hi, Most of my bruises are better and I still have edema on my upper body and my right thigh (which is normal I guess?) but general discoloration on my body bothers me a little bit. Do you think this is normal? And how long will it take to go away? Is there something I can do? I know this question was asked like 354644 times before but I would be really glad if I can find some answers. Thanks :)
I had lipo (Vaser) to lower back, love handles and hips approx. 10 months ago. I continue to have purplish discoloration to me L side (flank and hip). My lower back also seems lumpy (not straight) around the center portion...is this normal at this stage? Thank you.
Hi - I was severely bruised from my Lipo. My surgeon was aggressive since I had little fat to begin with, but now I'm over 13 weeks post and have discoloration, irregularities/cellulite, discoloration, and scar tissue which feels like a hard rod in places he went deeper. Surgeon says just continue to massage and will go away but I haven't seen any improvement in 6 weeks. Any other suggestions for discoloration and the hard rod like vertical scar tissue?
I had traumatic and overly aggressive VASER liposuction performed on my upper arms, resulting in a large haematoma on one side and a seroma on the other, presumably from thermal injury. These were treated with serial aspirations. Is the resultant discolouration: a) haemosiderin staining, b) post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, c) erythema ab lipoaspiration or d) livedo reticularis (I am ANA positive and have had drug-induced SLE in the past but no LR). What treatment, if any, would benefit me?
