I'm always hiding my arms with long sleeves. but im tired of having to do that.. it bothers me so much... they are on both arms. and very indented. please tell me something i can do to atleast make them not so noticable.. thank you so much, Edie
I have a history of drug abuse and my biggest concern, aside from recovery, is how scarred my arms got, above the forearms, all the way to my biceps. And I have mixed scarring, some from bad abscesses from recurring injections and lack of proper sterilization (the last one from about 3 months ago and the oldest from 3 years ago.) Nowadays I have a really hard time showing my arms, and I think it even affects my recovery process. What are my options, regardless of cost?
I'm a recovering addict trying to erase the last signs left of a dark time in my life. I'm interested in methods or hearing about medical procedures I can have done to help achieve this.
I am a former IV drug user. Light brown skinned African American. I recently entered treatment and stopped IV drug use. During that time I would often IV cocaine and heroin (speedball). Now I am left with these awful scars from missed injections. What treatments should I consider? I have recently started exfoliating, using Mederma, coco butter and Ambi fade cream. All over the counter products from the store . I am not sure how effective they are yet because I just started using them.
They make me feel a shamed to wear shorts as well as I cannot go swimming with my to sons because of something I did when I was young what can I do to help get rid of these discusting marks on my legs
