Wishing I Never Had the Procedure Done - Worcester, MA

Made appointment for a consultation with Dr. Frank Fechner in Worcester MA. Paid $100 for his time and was given a quote of $1200.00 to have two syringes of Juvederm facial filler for nasal labial folds. I agreed to his price and scheduled an appointment for the procedure for the following week. The procedure was very painful even though he numbed the area with dental block of novacaine. He refused to give me more. He said that he had already gave me the maximum he can give a patient for such a procedure. It hurt so badly I thought and wished I would pass out. I stayed andured this because I really thought this procedure would improve how I looked. After almost an hour of sheer hell, Dr. Fechner was finished. His assistant rushed me up and out of the room to the receptionist desk where I stood quietly with tears rolling down my check. The lady at the desk cheerily stated "Ok your balance is $3700.00 will you be using credit or debit?" I was shocked and told her that was not my balance and I pulled out my receipt with the quote I received from the previous week. The lady went to the room from where I came and return with Dr. Fechners assistant and she rudely told me "you received more product than what is on your consultation." I told her I was quoted a price for 2 syringes and that is what I came in for and prepared to only pay for that. I never asked for anything more than what we had previously discussed. To that she replied "So then why didn't you stop him at 2?" I was sitting there in the chair with my eyes squeezed shut and was not allowed to move my head. I could not tell if he was still on the first syringe or had moved on to the next. All I knew is it felt like it was taking forever and couldn't wait for it to be over. I told the receptionist that I will only pay the $1200 like I was quoted and said I would call the next day to resume talking about the balance. The 45 minute ride home was excruciating and was made worse by my rehashing the exchange at that office. When I came home I took an ambien and went to bed. I woke up the next morning to a badly bruised, swollen and painful face. I did not know that the top lip could expand so much without bursting. I called Dr. Fechner as soon as his office opened and got the same rude assistant as the other day. She told me I was going to be fine and take a Tylenol in very condescending tone. Thankfully I had a few prescription pills left over from an accident I had earlier in the year. The recovery was longer than I expected. Almost 3 weeks to see the swelling go down and I was very unhappy with the final result. I called to make another appointment only to hear Dr. Fechner say I look good and I should have more injections to improve the look of what I had already injected. Lumps and bumps and uneven results that HE put into my face could be improved by more injections and of course more money. I would advise any person looking for minor or major plastic or reconstructive surgery to look elsewhere. I do not believe Dr. Fechner to be honest or knowledgeable about the services he is offering. His staff is rude, condescending and indifferent. I feel deceived. I've been living with these botched up injections for over 7 months now and can tell you my self image has been at an all time low. I hate looking in the mirror and feel majorly depressed. I am starting to see that this products effects are starting to ware off and am looking forward to seeing my old self again. Even with the nasal labial folds being deeper than what I'd like it is a hundred times better than what he did to me.
