Under eye darkness has been the bane of my existence for quite a long time - the first time I noticed was in third grade! I am constantly asked by others if I am sick, tired, sad etc and it's such a blow to the ego! After double jaw surgery (for sleep apnea), they were much more pronounced. The tear troughs actually became hollow and much volume in general was lost from my cheek and eye area. The questions about my wellbeing were pretty much hurled at me with lightening speed!
At first, my injector put 1 syringe of Voluma to the upper cheeks to lift that area and restore some balance. The initial swelling was great and it completely improved the outer ring of my under eyes. However, the swelling reduced and I still had darkness now more towards the inner corner and a hollow bone. I returned for one syringe of Volbella to fill in that area, I hesitated and almost asked for an additional syringe, but eventually agreed to let time do some work before another round.
Now it's around day 9ish and I'm not sure how I feel. On one hand, that harsh bony line is no longer there, but there is some darkness from the bruising. There was a small blood bruise on the right eye that has faded away, but there are yellow splotches present around both.
Makeup definitely looks better and smoother, but I was hoping to look good WITHOUT my semi-extensive concealer routine. I'm forcing myself to be patient and wait it out at least 6 weeks before I dive into any more of these ventures. I apologize that I don't have any decent before photos! I'm quite camera shy.

Day 10 and Concealer comparison
moisturizemeMay 1, 2017
Products used: veil hourglass primer, Dior fix it color corrector, liole triple solution BB cream, benefit boing concealer, naked basics WOS eyeshadow (under eyes). It helps, but not a huge noticeable difference. I suspect people will ask if I didn't sleep last night.

I have had issues with dark circles ever since using Latisse for many years. I also receive trough work and I am now using a concealer by IT makeup.

Really crazy, I have the same darkness in the corners like you. Think I will show my injector your photos like the other commenter I just bought It Cosmetics Bye Bye Under eye concealer to see if it will help. I have been using the NYX under eye concealer that used to help before not so much now.

Bruising subsided + different lighting

Looks best in bright, natural lighting. Everything else is sort of meh. I'm still unsure of the results, they did help with that hollow bone area, but my main focus was the dark coloration of the area which the correction, I consider, is minimal to moderate at best. I'll be focusing on other areas and fillers in the future, rather than going in for another syringe of volbella.
